Pablo Neruda

Poet and writer, born in Parral, Chile, on July 12, 1904. He died in Santiago, Chile on September 23, 1973. His name until 1946 was Ricardo Eliezer Neftalí Reyes Basoalto, which was legally changed to Pablo Neruda.

Puerto Saavedra, a port town bathed by the waves of the Pacific Ocean, was one of Neruda's preferred locations to spend vacations with his family. Y me oyes desde lejos, y mi voz no te toca.
Parece que los ojos se te hubieran volado
Y parece que un beso te cerrara la boca..."
